This town also houses one of the Inca cities that captivates many visitors. Next, we head to another town for lunch prepared with local products. Our next site to visit is Ollantaytambo, “the living Inca city.” This city was built for the purpose of administration and surveillance against possible invasions. After finishing our visit to this important site, we will have the opportunity to walk through the narrow streets of the town to get a clear idea of its urban layout. Finally, we will head to the Ollantaytambo train station to take the train that will transport us to the town of Machu Picchu. At around 7:00 pm, we will depart on the train to Machu Picchu Pueblo. Around 8:45 pm, arrival in Machu Picchu – transfer to the hotel. Night in Machu Picchu Pueblo (Aguas Calientes).

After a good rest in the town of Machu Picchu and receiving instructions from our guide, we will head to the Bus Station, which will take us on a 45-minute journey ascending 400 meters in altitude to the wonder of the world, Machu Picchu. Upon arriving at the Historic Sanctuary of Machu Picchu, we will begin our experience with our guide, visiting the most important places such as temples, plazas, astronomical centers, and other sectors for approximately 3 hours. After our exploration of the Inca city, we will take the bus back down to Aguas Calientes to catch the train back to Ollantaytambo. Upon arrival at the Ollantaytambo station, our transfer will be waiting to take us to the city of Cusco. Night in Cusco.

Early in the morning, we will depart on a tourist bus heading to the city of Puno (3,860 meters above sea level). During the journey, we will visit the picturesque town of Andahuaylillas, where we will visit the San Pedro de Andahuaylillas temple, nicknamed the “Sistine Chapel of America” for its wealth of colonial art and frescoes covering walls, plinths, ceilings, and entrances. Along the way, we will also make a stop at Raqchi, where we will visit the spectacular Inca sanctuary built during the reign of Inca Pachacútec, dedicated to the great Inca god Wiracocha. It has a large central wall with a stone base and other walls made of adobe. In the temple’s surroundings, there are various ancient buildings used as houses or storage areas. We will have a buffet lunch in a peaceful countryside location, where we will delight in regional culinary art. Approximately 70 kilometers ahead, we will pass through the Raya region, where we will see herds of alpacas and llamas typical of the Andean fauna. We will then travel along the Collao Plateau, stopping in the town of Pucara, an important pre-Inca religious center that preserves the best examples of its traditions in a lithic museum. In the afternoon, we will arrive in Puno and transfer you to your hotel. Night in Puno.

Uros Floating Islands and Taquile Island (A) Early in the morning, after breakfast at your hotel, transfer to the pier to embark on an unforgettable motorboat excursion on Lake Titicaca.
